There's more to the best of Hawaiian culture than just Don Ho and "Tiny Bubbles." Honolulu offers a full spectrum of arts and cultural activities, like Broadway musicals at the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall or opera at Hawai'i Opera Theatre. Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall is also home to Oahu's main series of classical concerts, staged by the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra. For more modern tunes, the Hawaii International Jazz Festival produces theme shows and parties with dance bands. There are also an array of independent theatres showcasing the best local talent and productions, such as the Diamond Head Theatre and Mamiya Theatre, to name a few.

Before dancing all night, you can get in the mood by watching world-class professionals strut their stuff. Acclaimed ballet companies from the mainland also come to perform in Honolulu, which also boasts Hawai'i Ballet Theatre and Honolulu Dance Theatre.
